September 2019
Berkenalan melalui aplikasi Tinder, saat itu keduanya sama-sama single. Namun, setelah satu minggu percakapan sempat berhenti, Samantha berhenti memakai Tinder dan Josua tetap melanjutkan pemakaian Tinder.
November 2019
Samantha kembali menggunakan Tinder dan menyapa Josua di chat Tinder. Percakapan berlangsung hingga pindah ke Instagram lalu Line.
19 Desember 2019
Josua dan Samantha bertemu langsung untuk pertama kalinya di Tunjungan Plaza.
21 Desember 2019
Josua mengungkapkan perasaan pada Samantha untuk menjalin hubungan pacaran. Hubungan Josua dan Samantha berlangsung selama 5 Tahun.
