Love Story

OUR LOVE STORY

From Indonesia to Norway and back again, our love story starts with a love that travels distances. How truly beautiful it is that no time nor distance can keep away what is written for you.

Friendship

We first got to know each other through social media as we had some mutual friends. After the first few conversations, we quickly realized that we had many things in common. Our values and principles in life aligned with each other's. This created the start of our friendship which later blossomed into love.

First meeting

Our first meeting was in Banda Aceh, Indonesia. We instantly hit it off and felt that we had a good connection. We got to spend alot of time together and also be with our friends and families. Despite the difficulties of doing long distance and having to travel back and forth, we knew we wanted to pursue this love and commit to each other.

Engagement

We deeply value our parents approval to move forward with this lifelong commitment to each other. Ever since the beginning they had already given us their blessings. July 5, 2022 we finally got engaged. Alongside our families and close friends we gathered for a small and intimate celebration.

Marriage

As we step into the next stage of our lives, we sincerely wish to celebrate our wedding day with you on July 21, 2024. We will always cherish every moment with each other. And perhaps after this distance, Allah will bring us a permanent closeness.
