The Beginning of Our Journey
Semarang, August 2016
Our journey began when we were both entered Diponegoro University (UNDIP). We became part of the same organization, the Christian Student Fellowship of the Faculty of Economics and Business at UNDIP. We started to communicate each other more frequently and serve together in various spiritual activities.
In 2022
After years, our relationship remained that of close friends. we did not pursue anything beyond friendship, we were focused on our studies and building our individual careers. However, by god’s grace, we were met in Jakarta, just as we were both beginning our professional journeys.

As we spent more time together, a deeper feeling began to blossom. On October 10th, 2022, Sabda confessed his feelings to Dwi. We both felt ready take a meaningful step forward and begin a more serious relationship together.
Family Introduction
In April 2024, Sabda and his family visited Dwi’s home to formally introduce themselves. Later, at the end of December, a traditional ceremony called Marhori-hori Dinding, a cultural family tradition, in which the groom’s family visits the bride’s home to express their intention and plans for the marriage.
